WHEREAS, the Environmental Department received Resolution 20-1058 to purchase a truck under Account 100-2040-5100 for $23,709 under Alabama Purchasing Contract #T191A Master Agreement #MA 999 16000000008 with Stivers Ford Lincoln, and
WHEREAS, the truck was no longer available, and
WHEREAS, the available truck meeting the required specifications is available for $25,747 under Alabama Purchasing Contract #T191A Master Agreement #MA 999 16000000008 with Stivers Ford Lincoln, and
WHEREAS, the truck is budgeted at $26,000 in the FY20 budget.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Approves the Environmental Department to purchase a truck under account 100-2040-5100 for $25,747 under Alabama Purchasing Contract #T191A Master Agreement #MA 999 16000000008 with Stivers Ford Lincoln.
SECTION 2: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
