A Resolution Appropriating Funds and Approving Sawgrass Consulting, LLC for remaining Parking Lot & Road Construction north of CAFFM Adjacent to the New Pickleball Courts.
Summary
The Leisure Services Division previously appropriated $84,000 in Resolution 23-0244 for the purpose of the Street Department to build the road base for the new pickleball road. During the road construction, the Street Department has spent $118,321.85. Due to the added drainage boxes, grates, piping, pond size increase/outfall and additional parking. Additional cost also included the machine rentals needed to complete the complexity of the grade. We would like to request that these additional expenditures be memorialized and increase the account 400-5030-5108 Pickleball Road Addition by $ $34,321.85. The Leisure Services Division is requesting to appropriate an additional $334,200 to this project which includes $51,400 for Sawgrass Consulting, LLC professional services contract and $282,300 which is estimated for this phase of the project plus $500 advertising expense.
