NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Memorializes the closure of city offices except for emergency services at noon on Thursday, March 28, 2024, in honor of former Mayor John Koniar's funeral services and accrues 4 hours of personal leave to regular full-time employees and 2 hours of personal leave to regular part-time employees to cover the closure for the afternoon.
SECTION 2: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
