WHEREAS, the City continues to grow, and the climate of society is changing, and
WHEREAS, a new door security system was budgeted in FY22 as Security Door as an addition for Public Works under Account# 100-1060-5100, and
WHEREAS, the Public Works Department is requesting approval to purchase 3 Security Door Systems with Controller and other needed equipment for $9582.87 from Communications International under Account# 100-1060-5100 for the safety of their employees.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Approves the purchase of 3 Security Door Systems with Controller and other needed equipment for $9582.87 from Communications International under Account# 100-1060-5100 for the safety of their employees, since this is a FY22 budgeted item under Account # 100-1060-5100.
SECTION 2: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
