WHEREAS, the Nature Parks Department has expressed a need for a zero turn mower to replace an existing one that is not repairable, and
WHEREAS, the Nature Parks Department requests to purchase a Ex-Mark 52" 4 Series Deck zero turn mower under Account 100-5090-5100 for $8924.00 from G & J's Power Equipment, Inc., and
WHEREAS, there is $8000 budgeted for a capital purchase in FY22 budget and $924 available in the Nature Parks Operating Account to be transferred toward the purchase.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Approves the Nature Parks Department to purchase an Ex Mark Zero Turn Mower under Account 100-5090-5100 for $8924.00 from G & J's Power Equipment, Inc. and approves the transfer of $924.00 from Account #100-5090-6051 to Account #100-5090-5100.
SECTION 2: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
