A Resolution Approving Project Submittal to RESTORE Portal for Grant Consideration
Summary
The Alabama Gulf Coast Recovery Council (AGCRC) is seeking project suggestions for RESTORE Act Direct Component (Bucket 1) and Spill Impact Component (Bucket 3) Funding. In addition, the Alabama Department of Conservation and Natural Resources (ADCNR) is seeking project suggestions for its Coastal Alabama Regional Water Quality Program funded through the RESTORE Act Council-Selected Restoration Component (Bucket 2). Graham Creek Nature Preserve requests Council permission to submit project suggestions to all three project buckets to include property acquisitions, restoration and enhancements, and a water quality monitoring project. Total project submissions total $13 million. If project submission is selected to move forward, applications will be submitted for grant funding. Projects must be submitted prior to October 15, 2021. There are no match requirements.
