A Resolution Approving the Sanitation Purchase of Recycle Truck
Summary
To better serve the citizens of Foley , the Residential Sanitation Department requests to purchase a 2023 ROTOPAC 520 Truck Chassis for $141,342.00 from Performance Peterbilt of Hattiesburg, LLC through Sourcewell Contract# 060920-PMC AND a 2023 New Way 40 yd Eject Body from Sansom Equipment Company for $135,111.00 through Sourcewll (NJPA) #091219-NWY . The total cost of the completed Recycle Truck is 276,543.00. This is an addition to our fleet and was included in the FY22 Budget under account# 601-4011-5100 for $277,000.00 as Recycle Truck.
As the City continues to grow, new trucks are needed to keep up with the workload that also increases with the growth.
