Summary
Foley Police Department is requesting to amend resolution 21-1083-RES for the purchase of (2) Police Dodge Ram Pickup Trucks. Due to COVID-19 the production of vehicles has decreased and the department is unable to purchase any Dodge Ram Trucks due to a computer chip shortage per Stivers CDJR. The police department is requesting to purchase (2) Chevrolet Silverado Trucks already on the lot and the equipment to outfit both vehicles in place of the Dodge Rams off Alabama State Bid Contract # T191L Master Agreement # MA 999 200000000211 with Donohoo Chevrolet. The cost of (2) Chevrolet Silverado Trucks will be $31,705.10 each, totaling $63,410.20.
