WHEREAS, the Beautification Board has recommended pressure washing sidewalks on South Alston Street down to W Verbena Street on the west side of South Alston Street and on east side of the road on South Alston Street from W Laurel Avenue down to Orange Avenue (both sides of Orange Avenue down to HWY 59) down South Alston Street to Myrtle Avenue (both sides of Myrtle Ave) down South Alston Street to W Verbena (both sides of  W Verbena to HWY 59, for a total of 4000 Linear feet *8=32000sq ft. and

 

WHEREAS, also included is rinsing down of parking lots in front of sidewalks after surface cleaning creating a nice clean look, and

 

WHEREAS,  the total cost for this project is $6,400.00.

       

     NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:

     SECTION 1:     Approves the increase in budget of Account No. 100-3013-6010 in the amount of $6,400.00 for the sidewalk pressure washing project.

     SECTION 2:     This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
