A Resolution Waiving Fees for the Use of Heritage Park and Pavilion for South Baldwin Chamber Foundation's Annual BBQ & Blues Cook-Off Fundraising Event.

Summary
The South Baldwin Chamber Foundation has requested the use of the Heritage Park and Pavilion on March 12, 2022 (begin set up on March 10, 2022) for their annual BBQ & Blues Cook-Off fundraising event. They respectfully request that the fees for the park and pavilion be waived. Also, they request that the Parks Department in preparation and maintenance of the grounds during the festival to include trash receptacle set up and service, hanging of banners and signage, assisting in power and water hook-ups and placement of picnic tables and barricades. Additionally, they request a special events retail license to serve alcoholic beverages at the event. The license will be for beer and wine only.

WHEREAS, the South Baldwin Chamber Foundation has requested the use of Heritage Park and Pavilion at no charge on March 12, 2022 (begin set up on March 10, 2022) for their BBQ & Blues Cook-Off fundraising event, and

WHEREAS, South Baldwin Chamber Foundation requests help from the Parks Department in preparation and maintenance of the grounds during the festival to include trash receptacle set up and service, hanging of banners and signage, assisting in power and water hook-ups and placement of picnic tables and barricades, and

WHEREAS, the Chamber Foundation also requested a special events retail license to serve alcoholic beverages (beer and wine only) at the same event.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:

SECTION 1: Waives the fees for the use of Heritage Park and Pavilion requested by the South Baldwin Chamber Foundation for their fundraiser on March 12, 2022.
