Body
WHEREAS, the Foley Art Center is requesting to host a Pop Up Arts and Crafts Show on Saturday, March 13, 2021 from 9:00 am until 3:00 pm at 211 N. McKenzie Street, and
WHEREAS, the Foley Art Center is requesting to block the alley behind the Art Center and Foley Coffee Shop from 6:00 am until 5:00 pm, and
WHEREAS, vendors will be social distancing and there will be a limited number of vendors who are current members with the Foley Art Center, and
WHEREAS, the inside of the Gallery will be opened as well to shop from items in the Gallery from over 100 local Artists and Craftsmen member, and
WHEREAS, all sales go through the Gallery, the Foley Art Center will collect and remit Sales Tax, and
WHEREAS, the Boy Scouts will be selling drinks, coffee and hot chocolate with the proceeds going to the Boy Scouts
WHEREAS, the Foley Art Center will purchase Special Event Liability Insurance for the event.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Approves the Foley Art Center to host a one day Pop Up Arts and Crafts show on Saturday, March 13, 2021 with a makeup day of Saturday, March 20, 2021.
SECTION 2: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
