Resolution Approving the Appropriation of Funds for Four (4) Road Building Projects.
Summary
The Street Department is trying to be proactive in preparing four (4) road projects in advance - soil samples, surveys, designs, so they are ready to go at any time. Engineering and Environmental issues must be addressed before actual road building can begin. The roads listed were included in the plan approved in the 2021 budget, and the Street Department is asking for the appropriation of those fund, so they can begin working:
Roscoe Rd. under 400-3010-5100 CR-3 estimated at $2500,
N. Pecan under 400-3010-5100 CR-4 estimated at $55,500,
Jessamine under 400-3010-5100 CR-5 estimated at $15,500, and
W. Lawson under 400-3010-5100 CR-6 estimated at $27,500.

WHEREAS, the Street Department is trying to be proactive in preparing four (4) road projects in advance by addressing Engineering & Environmental issues, so the road building can begin at any time, and
WHEREAS, the Street Department is asking for the appropriation of funds for the four (4) roads, since they were approved in the 2021 budget, and
WHEREAS, the Street Department will request additional funding for each project at a later date.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Approves the appropriation of funds for the four (4) roads:
Roscoe Rd. under 400-3010-5100 CR-3 at $2500,
N. Pecan under 400-3010-5100 CR-4 at $55,500,
Jessamine under 400-3010-5100 CR-5 at $15,500, and
W. Lawson under 400-3010-5100 CR-6 at $27,500.
SECTION 2: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as
