WHEREAS, The Council adopted Resolution #20-1116 on May 4, 2020 implementing spending reduction measures of which included gaining permission of Council for the filling of vacant positions. This resolution authorizes the filling of two recent vacancies of Equipment Operator I in the Street Department. All of the action in this resolution is budget neutral.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Authorizes the filling of two vacancies created by termination and retirement in the Street Department for two Equipment Operator I's.
SECTION 2: All action in this resolution is budget neutral.
SECTION 3: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
