WHEREAS, the Foley Art Center is requesting to host a Pop Up Arts and Crafts Show on Saturday, October 3, 2020 from 9:00 am until 4:00 pm, and
WHEREAS, vendors will be social distancing and there will be a limited number of vendors who are current members with the Foley Art Center, and
WHEREAS, the inside of the Gallery will be opened as well to shop from items in the Gallery from over 100 local Artists and Craftsmen member, and
WHEREAS, the Alley behind the Foley Art Center will be blocked to thru traffic, to provide safety to pedestrians, and
WHEREAS, the Foley Art Center will purchase Special Event Liability Insurance for the event.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Approves the Foley Art Center to host a one day Pop Up Arts and Crafts show on Saturday, October 3, 2020 with a makeup day of Saturday, October 10, 2020.
SECTION 2: Approves blocking the alley behind the Art Center subject to Police Department and Fire Department approval.
SECTION 3: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
