Summary
The Fire Department has received generous donations this fiscal year from several sources wishing to provide funding for additional equipment. We have identified a need for a battery powered ventilation fan. We are requesting that our Fire Department Donation account 100-2020-4651 be amended to reflect the unbudgeted $3851 and our Small Tools account 100-2020-6053 be amended to show an additional $3851, for a net effect of $0.

WHEREAS, the Foley Fire Department has received unbudgeted donations of $3851 from several generous community sources, and
WHEREAS, these donations are intended to support the Fire Department with needed fire equipment, and
WHEREAS, there is a need to purchase a battery powered ventilation fan to assist with removing smoke and other ventilation needs.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Accepts these donations and amends the FY20 budget to reflect an increase of $3851 in the Fire Department Donations account 100-2020-4651 and an increase of $3851 in the Small Tools account 100-2020-6053, for a net effect of $0.
SECTION 2: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
