Pastor Nolan Donald with Foley United Methodist Church is requesting the use of the Heritage Park and Pavilion every Sunday from August, September 13, 2020 - December 20, 2020 from 7:00 am to 9:30 am for a Community Worship Gathering. In an effort to serve the greater Foley community this fall during the ongoing pandemic, we will offer a temporary weekly outdoor service. We would have musicians on the stage, invite people to bring their own chairs, and maintain social distance/COVID protocols. The service would start at 8:00am.
They are requesting all fees to be waived. (Because of our desire to bless and serve the community of Foley, we requested the rental fees be waived. If the service goes well and helps the community we would like the option to continue through the spring of 2021.)

WHEREAS, Pastor Nolan Donald with Foley United Methodist Church requested the use of Heritage Park and Pavilion at no charge every Sunday morning from September 13, 2020 - December 20, 2020 from 7:00 am to 9:30 am for a Community Worship Gathering.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Waives the fees for the use of Heritage Park and Pavilion requested by Pastor Nolan Donald with Foley United Methodist Church every Sunday morning from 9/13/20 - 12/20/20 from 7:00am - 9:30pm.
