Body
WHEREAS, the Revenue Officer has requested that certain City commercial sanitation accounts balances be written off as uncollectible, and
WHEREAS, the Finance Department request that miscellaneous returned checks and bank charges be written off as uncollectible for accounting purposes.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: That certain commercial sanitation account balances in the collective amount of $1,886.75, as listed on the attached memorandum dated August 17, 2020, be written off under account 100-4010-6165 Commercial Sanitation Write-Offs.
SECTION 2: That various returned checks in the collective amount of $910.78, as listed on the attached, be written off from account 100-1412 Misc A/R to account 100-1012-6129 Debt Write Off.
SECTION 3: That an uncollected bank fee from a returned check in the amount of $6.00 be written off from 202-1412 Misc A/R (Recreation Fund) to account 100-1012-6129 Debt Write Off.
SECTION 4: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
