     WHEREAS, The Foley Police Department has (3) three vehicles which are no longer operational. The Police Department requests Council to declare these vehicles:

                        (FAS 5574 ) Unit # 25, 2004 Ford Crown Vic White in color VIN#2FAFP71W44X144178, (FAS 3193) Unit # 40, 2000 Ford Crown Vic White in color
                         VIN#2FAFP71W0YX102869, and (FAS 6694) Unit # 1007, 2010 Dodge Charger White in color VIN#2B3KA43H77H878000 as
surplus and no longer needed
                                  for a public purpose and to be disposed of by the best method available.

 

      NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:

 

     SECTION 1: Approves the request to declare these vehicles: (FAS 5574) Unit #25, 2004 Ford Crown Vic White in color VIN#2FAFP71W44X144178, (FAS 3193)
                         Unit #40, 2000 Ford Crown Vic White in color VIN#2FAFP71W0YX102869, and (FAS 6694) Unit # 1007, 2010 Dodge Charger White in color

                                  VIN#2B3KA43H77H878000 as surplus and no longer needed for a public purpose.   

     SECTION 2: Approves the disposal of the surplus vehicles by the best method available

     SECTION 3: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
