WHEREAS, Foley Main Street was chosen to be awarded an $800.00 grant from Baldwin County Trail Blazers for the purchase of bike racks, and
WHEREAS, Foley Main Street would like to accept the grant to begin placing four bike racks in downtown Foley at the following locations:
Near Pine Street the corner of Pine Street and US Highway 98 East
Near proposed butterfly park located off the alley between South Chicago Street and Highway 59
Near Copper Kettle Tea Bar on Chicago Street
Near the entry of the pedestrian bridge on Highway 59
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Approves installing four bike racks at the above listed locations in downtown Foley.
SECTION 2: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
