WHEREAS, Resolution 20-1147-RES authorized the application for funding assistance for certain improvements at the Foley Municipal Airport through the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), and,
WHEREAS, the improvements associated with this application are planned for a project to rehabilitate the north apron (mill and overlay) and,
WHEREAS, the City of Foley has received a grant offer from the FAA.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama as follows:
SECTION 1: That the City of Foley accepts the FAA grant offer and the Mayor or the Airport Manager are hereby authorized, directed and empowered to enter into an airport funding agreement with both entities.
SECTION 2: Amends FY21 revenue account #400-1070-4108 FAA-Airport North Apron Rehab R56-FAA by an increase of $306,274.00.
SECTION 3: That this Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
