A Resolution Requesting a transfer of funds for the Sanitation Department

Summary

Due to a higher than expected demand on 96 gallon green garbage cans, the Sanitation Department needs to transfer budgeted money to replenish the stock for the rest of FY20.  The Sanitation Department is requesting that $30,000.00 be transferred from the Sanitation Capital Purchase Account# 100-4010-5100 into the Sanitation Small Tools Account# 100-4010-6053.

WHEREAS, the Sanitation Dept. has had a higher than expected demand on 96 gallon garbage cans, and 

WHEREAS, the Sanitation Dept. needs to transfer budgeted money to replenish the stock for the rest of FY20, and

WHEREAS, because of this fact, the Sanitation Dept. is requesting that $30,000.00 be transferred from the Sanitation Capital Purchase Account# 100-4010-5100 into the Sanitation Small Tools Account# 100-4010-6053, so as to make the purchase under the correct account. 

 

     NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:

    

     SECTION 1: Approves the transfer of $30,000.00 from the Sanitation Capital Purchase Account# 100-4010-5100 into the Sanitation Small Tools Account# 100-4010-6053 for the purchase of 96 gallon garbage cans under the correct account so as to replenish the stock for the rest of FY20

 

     SECTION 2:     This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
