WHEREAS, on December 2, 2019, Council adopted Resolution 19-1377, which rescheduled certain Work Session and Council Meetings due to holidays and conferences, and
WHEREAS, Section 1. of Resolution 19-1377 rescheduled the Work Session and Council Meetings of Monday, May 18, 2020 to Thursday, May 21, 2020 due to the Alabama League of Municipalities Conference being held on May 16-18, 2020, and
WHEREAS, the Alabama League of Municipalities has postponed the conference due to the COVID-19 pandemic to a later date to be determined, and
WHEREAS, Council wishes to reschedule the Work Session and Council Meetings back to the original date of Monday, May 18, 2020.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Reschedules the Work Session and Council Meetings of Thursday, May 21, 2020 to Monday, May 18, 2020 at their regularly scheduled times.
SECTION 2: Amends Section 1. of Resolution 19-1377 in support of this action.
SECTION 3: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
