WHEREAS,the Foley Police Department has one (1) vehicle that is no longer being effectively utilized by our SWAT team, and
WHEREAS, the Police Department requests Council to declare this vehicle: Asset ID# 0010 - 1993 Brinks Truck VIN# 1HTSCPLM9PH510711 (vehicle ID 2010193) as surplus and donate to Blount County Sheriff’s Department who is next on BRINKS list to receive an armored truck.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Approves the request to declare this vehicle as surplus and be donated to Blount County Sheriff’s Department.
SECTION 2: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
