WHEREAS, The Foley Police Department has (3) three vehicles which are no longer operational. The Police Department requests Council to declare these vehicles:
(FAS 6677) Unit # 507, 2007 Ford Crown Vic White in color VIN# 2FAFP71WX7X152158, (FAS 6686) Unit # 1307, 2007 Dodge Charger White in color VIN# 2B3KA43H47H877998, (FAS 6691) Unit # 1807, 2007 Dodge Charger White in color VIN# 2B3KA43H87H844275, as surplus and no longer needed for a public purpose and to be disposed of by the best method available.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Approves the request to declare these vehicles, (FAS 6677) Unit # 507, 2007 Ford Crown Vic White in color VIN# 2FAFP71WX7X152158, (FAS 6686) Unit # 1307, 2007 Dodge Charger White in color VIN# 2B3KA43H47H877998, (FAS 6691) Unit # 1807, 2007 Dodge Charger White in color VIN# 2B3KA43H87H844275, as surplus and no longer needed for a public purpose.
SECTION 2: Approves the disposal of the surplus vehicles by the best method available
SECTION 3: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
