WHEREAS, The North Alston Street drainage network serves a large portion of downtown including a large residential area, and
WHEREAS, Improvements are needed to the existing pipes and channels to enhance capacity and to better serve the affected citizens, and
WHEREAS, A drainage study of the area is required to assist Engineering and Public Works with the design and implementation of these improvements, and
WHEREAS, the Capital plan includes funding for this study.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Approves the professional services proposal of GMC for a detailed survey of the area identified as Phase II and appropriates $5,250 to account 400-3020-6213, A15, ALST DR II.
SECTION 2: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
