WHEREAS, there is a need to accomodate citizens with limited mobility that are visiting the Post Office building owned by the City, and
WHEREAS, the installation of automatic doors will assist visitors with limited mobility.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Approves the installation of automatic door openers to the west interior and west exterior Post Office doors.
SECTION 2: Appropriates $13,000.00 to Account No. 400-1020-5100 for Post Office Improvements.
SECTION 3: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
