Summary
The Foley Recreation Department received Council permission to apply for the Good Sports Equipment Grant on RES 19-1095. The Recreation Department was accepted into the Good Sports Equipment Grant program and will be eligible to receive 3 equipment donations between 4/26/19 - 4/30/20 and 3 equipment donations between 5/1/20 - 4/30/21. The Recreation Department will only be responsible for 5% of the cost of the equipment that is ordered. The 5% cost will be paid out of the Recreation Fund's normal operating budget for equipment.

WHEREAS, The Foley Recreation Department received Council permission to apply for the Good Sports Equipment Grant on RES 19-1095, and
WHEREAS, the Recreation Department was accepted into the Good Sports Equipment Grant program and will be eligible to receive 3 equipment donations between 4/26/19 - 4/30/20 and 3 equipment donations between 5/1/20 - 4/30/21, and
WHEREAS, the Recreation Department will only be responsible for 5% of the cost of the equipment that is ordered and the 5% cost will be paid out of the Recreation Fund's normal operating budget for equipment.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Grants permission for the Foley Recreation Department to accept the Good Sports Equipment Grant.
SECTION 2: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
