WHEREAS, The Foley Police Department has (5) five vehicles which are no longer operational. The Police Department requests Council to declare these vehicles: (FAS 3250) Unit # 21, 1997 Ford F150 White in color VIN# 1FTDF17W6VLB88643, (FAS 5573))Unit # 32, 2004 Crown Victoria White in color VIN# 2FAFP71W24X144177, (FAS 9162) Unit # 94, 1994 Chevrolet Silverado White in color VIN# 1GCEK14K7RZ201131, (FAS 9163) Unit # 97, 1997 Honda Civic White in color VIN# JHMEJ6577VS036113, and (FAS 6687)Unit # 1107, 2007 Dodge Charger White in color VIN# 2B3KA43H97H878001 as surplus and no longer needed for a public purpose and to be
disposed of by the best method available.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Approves the request to declare these vehicles, (FAS 3250) Unit # 21, 1997 Ford F150 White in color VIN# 1FTDF17W6VLB88643, (FAS 5573) Unit # 32, 2004 Crown Victoria White in color VIN# 2FAFP71W24X144177, (FAS 9162) Unit # 94, 1994 Chevrolet Silverado White in color VIN# 1GCEK14K7RZ201131, (FAS 9162) Unit # 97, 1997 Honda Civic White in color VIN# JHMEJ6577VS036113, (FAS 6687) Unit # 1107, 2007 Dodge Charger White in color VIN # 2B3KA43H97H878001, as surplus and no longer needed for a public purpose.
SECTION 2: Approves the disposal of the surplus vehicles by the best method available.
SECTION 3: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
