WHEREAS, The City of Foley and the South Baldwin Chamber of Commerce are presently engaged in a performance contract for the Alabama Festival of Flavor dated October 28, 2018 in the amount of $20,000, and
WHEREAS, the South Baldwin Chamber of Commerce is requesting to terminate the Alabama Festival of Flavor performance contract with the City of Foley in order to focus their efforts on the Chicago Street Supper Club, and
WHEREAS, the South Baldwin Chamber of Commerce is also requesting to reallocate the performance contract funds for the Alabama Festival of Flavor to the Chicago Street Supper Club.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Approves terminating the Alabama Festival of Flavor Performance Contract under Contracts for Public Purpose Account #100-1010-6111 for a reduction of $20,000.
SECTION 2: Approves entering into a new performance contract with the The South Baldwin Chamber of Commerce in support of the Chicago Street Supper Club in the amount of $_______ and appropriates funds to 100-1010-6111.
SECTION 2: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
