Summary
The Rikard Family Charitable Trust has donated $1,500 to the City of Foley's Caboose Club, without stipulations, for the pleasure their contributions provide to our community. Caboose Club funds are held in the L&N Museum Depot checking account. Caboose Club members periodically request to use donated funds to make purchases. WHEREAS, the Caboose Club provides a remarkable contribution to the community with the Model Train Exhibit, and,
WHEREAS, the local community and visitors enjoy their work for providing a unique venue for the enjoyment of model trains,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Accepts the donation of $1,500 from the Rikard Family Charitable Trust without stipulations
SECTION 2: Amends the budget for revenue account 100-5062-4651/Donations-Model Train accordingly
SECTION 3: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
