WHEREAS, The Live Tree located in Heritage Park that has been used for years as the Christmas Tree is deteriorating fast and is no longer suitable for use.
WHEREAS, the Revitalization & Beautification Board has a need and has budgeted for a new artificial Christmas Tree for Heritage Park.
WHEREAS, there are three size options for the artificial tree to be purchased including 30 foot, 36 foot, and 40 foot.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of Foley, Alabama as follows:
SECTION 1. Approves the Revitalization & Beautification Board to go to bid for the budgeted Christmas Tree.
SECTION 2. Approves the bidding of three different sizes of Christmas tree including 30 foot tree, 36 foot tree, and 40 foot tree.
SECTION 3. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
