WHEREAS, Resolution 18-1083 approved application for an FY2018/19 Certified Local Government (CLG) Grant for training, and
WHEREAS, the Alabama Historical Commission (AHC) has approved the application and funding for the grant needs to be appropriated.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Approves $12,500 for training and appoints Miriam Boutwell as Grant Manager.
SECTION 2: Accepts award of AHC’s CLG grant in the amount of $7,500 and approves a 40% project match of $5,000.
SECTION 3: Approves the appropriation of $7,500 for the Grant Revenue and $12,500 for the training expense in the Fiscal Year 2019 Budget.
