The Foley Library asks that the City of Foley accept a donation of $3,000.00 from the Friends of the Foley Library which will used for the purchase of shelving for the Fiction section.

WHEREAS, the Friends of the Foley Library has donated $3,000.00 to the Foley Public Library and,
WHEREAS, the Foley Library has designated the purchase of shelving for the Fiction section with the aforementioned funding.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Accepts the donation of $3,000.00 from the Friends of the Foley Library, and
SECTION 2: Amends the budget accordingly and approves the expenditure of the Friends of the Foley Library donation. The following accounts shall be used: account #201 5021 6053 and account #201 5020 4651.
SECTION 3: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
