WHEREAS, under enabling Resolution 13-0608, Council approved City employees to enter upon property located at 510 S. Hickory Street for the purposes of removing the weed nuisance, and
WHEREAS, Callihan Dearborn Construction submitted a quote to remove the weeds and chain fence on the property in the amount of $1,410.00.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Accepts Callihan Dearborn Construction's quote in the amount of $1,410.00 to remove the weed nuisance located at 510 S. Hickory Street.
SECTION 2: Appriates $1,410.00 to new General Fund, General Government Account 01-620-8352 - Weed Abatement Expense.
SECTION 3: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
