WHEREAS, from time to time the City Council has to make adjustments to their calendar because of holidays and conferences, and
WHEREAS, there are two holidays and one conference that fall on Work Session/Council Meeting dates that need to be rescheduled, and
WHEREAS, Monday, January 20, 2025 will be observed for Martin Luther King Jr. Day and this Council Meeting will need to be rescheduled to Tuesday, January 21, 2025, and
WHEREAS, Monday, September 1, 2025 will be observed for Labor Day and this Council Meeting will need to be rescheduled to Tuesday, September 2, 2025, and
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Approves rescheduling the Work Session/Council Meeting dates with the same time (4:00 p.m. respectively) due to holidays and conferences as follows:
Monday, January 20, 2025 is rescheduled for Tuesday, January 21, 2025 to accommodate Martin Luther King Day
Monday, September 1, 2025 is rescheduled for Tuesday, September 2, 2025 to accommodate Labor Day
SECTION 2: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
