WHEREAS, the City of Foley Street Department has a need to purchase a new backhoe and boom mower to replace existing equipment, and,
WHEREAS, the City of Foley Sanitation Department has a need to purchase a new 20 yard recycle truck to replace an existing vehicle.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Approves staff going to bid on a new backhoe budgeted in the amount of $125,000 under account #01-607-7010, a new boom mower budgeted in the amount of $105,000 under account #01-607-7010, and a new 20 yard recycle truck budgeted in the amount of $175,000 under account #01-610-7010.
SECTION 2: Approves advertising expenses in an amount up to $1,100 under account #01-620-3120 (includes all three bids).
SECTION 2: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
