WHEREAS, Wolf Creek Stream Restoration was approved through Resolution 4552-11 with Southern Excavating performing the natural stream restoration and City forces excavating the floodplain, and
WHEREAS, excessive rains and soil conditions have prevented the City from completing the floodplain excavation, and
WHEREAS, Southern Excavation has proposed an amendment to the contract to include excavation and stacking of about 15,000 yards of material and mobilization costs at a total of $20,800.00.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Approves the amendment of the contract with Southern Excavating, LLC to complete the floodplain excavation in the amount of $20,800.00 under existing budget in Account No. 12-665-7286.
SECTION 2: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
