A Resolution Approving the Justice Center Fiber Relocation Capital Project.
Summary
The Police Department requests council approval to start the fiber relocation capital project at the Justice Center. When the parking lot was graded, the two fiber cables became too low and can't be raised. The project includes the material and labor to run new fiber lines for both lines. This project is not in the FY23 capital projects plan. No additional quotes submitted due to B&L Cable Construction currently being utilized by our IT department for fiber installation. The second line will relocated by Uniti and it will include construction, splicing, and material.
