WHEREAS, bids were received by the City of Foley on July 31, 2013 to displace runway 36 at the Foley Municipal Airport, and,
WHEREAS, Pavement Maintenance Unlimited, Inc. submitted a bid in the amount of $311,631.00 and has been determined to be the lowest responsive bidder.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Accepts the bid submitted by Pavement Maintenance Unlimited, Inc. in the amount of $311,631.00 for the displacement of runway 36 at the Foley Municipal Airport pending successful background check results and appropriates funds to Account 12-665-7324 R03 BID.
SECTION 2: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
