The Foley Fire Department is requesting approval to go to bid and purchase replacement hydraulic rescue tools for vehicle extrication and other uses. These tools were originally scheduled for replacement over the next two budget cycles, but we have shifted priority of other purchases in the Fire Ad Valorem Fund to be able to purchase one set now. We will advertise for bid pricing that will allow us to purchase additional sets in the next fiscal year if the budget allows.
