A Resolution to Accept an Equipment Bid and Installation Proposal for the City of Foley Public Safety Radio System
Summary
The Foley Fire and Police Departments are working to improve reliability and redundancy of our current radio system. The Nexedge radio tower site upgrade project is a planned capital project for FY 2022-2023 under account 400-2020-5103. We are requesting to fund Capital Project account 400-2020-5103 in the amount of $80,000. Though our equipment bid and installation proposal totaled $53,620.21, we are requesting the remaining funds be used for any unforeseen issues or upgrades that need to take place at time of install. We are also requesting that the Mayor be authorized to sign and execute agreements to include a tower lease as part of this project. We have budgeted for the tower lease payments for next fiscal year.
