WHEREAS, the City of Foley solicited bids and publicly opened them on September 4, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. for the construction of Letting #1 of the FY13 TIGER Grant No. 15 project on September 4, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. and the bids are as follows:

WHEREAS, Hosea O. Weaver and Sons, Inc. submitted the lowest bid in the amount of $2,088,941.75.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Accepts the bid submitted by Hosea O. Weaver and Sons, Inc. for the construction of Letting #1 of the FY13 TIGER Grant No. 15 project in the amount of $2,088,941.75 under TRIPS TIGER Grant Account No. 31-665-7100 (L1: TIGER Grant / Roadway Plans), which is 100% reimbursable from FY13 TIGER funds per the grant agreement and will be tracked under TRIPS TIGER Revenue Account No. 31-5710 (L1: TIGER Grant / Roadway Plans).
SECTION 2: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
