An Ordinance Appointing the City Treasurer
Body
WHEREAS, under the Code of Alabama, Section 11-43-3 it is required that the City Council of a municipality shall appoint a Treasurer.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, that Sue Steigerwald be appointed Treasurer for the terms of office 2012-2016.
BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED that any check written in an amount of $5,000.00 or more requires two (2) signatures, and the following named Council members and City Treasurer are hereby designated and authorized to act on behalf of the City of Foley:
J. Wayne Trawick, Councilman
Ralph G. Hellmich, Councilman
Charles J. Ebert, III, Councilman
Sue Steigerwald, City Treasurer
BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED that each of the persons above named will be bonded in accordance with law and that each, individually, shall be authorized to sign checks and documents on behalf of the City of Foley.
