A Resolution Appropriating Funds and Approving to Go to Bid for a Pole Barn for Foley Sports Tourism Multi-Use Fields
Summary
Foley Sports Tourism needs a pole barn to store maintenance equipment and materials. Sawyer Design Build, LLC has provided a proposal for the development of the permit drawings and construction for the pole barn, installation of the new chain-link fence, and installation of a gravel pad beneath the pole barn. It will consist of 40’ x 60’ roof only pole barn. This barn will allow us to preserve our equipment a lot longer. We will also modify some fencing and add gravel pad.

WHEREAS, Foley Sports Tourism needs a pole barn, and
WHEREAS, Sawyer Design Build LLC has provided a proposal to bid the project and oversee construction.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Approves the appropriation of $45,000 to Capital Project 400-5042-5104 Multi-Use Fields Pole Barn;
SECTION 2: Approves the Mayor signing contracts with Sawyer Design Build, LLC;
SECTION 3: Approves permission to go to bid;
SECTION 4: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
