The Alabama League Convention will be held on May 15-18, 2024 in Huntsville, Alabama, with the Annual Business Session to be held at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, May 17, 2024. Council needs to select which Council Member will be the voting delegate and which one will be the 1st alternate and 2nd alternate. Council Members attending are Vera Quaites, Rick Blackwell and Dick Dayton.

WHEREAS, the Alabama League of Municipalities' Annual Convention will be held in Huntsville, Alabama, May 15-18, 2024, and
WHEREAS, the Annual Business Session will be held on May 17, 2024 at 4:00 p.m., and
WHEREAS, Councilmembers Vera Quaites, Rick Blackwell and Richard Dayton will be attending the annual Convention for this year.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Appoints Councilmember Vera Quaites as the Voting Delegate; appoints Councilmember Rick Blackwell as the 1st Alternate Voting Delegate and appoints Councilmember Richard Dayton as the 2nd Alternate Voting Delegate to represent the City of Foley at the Annual Business Session on May 12, 2023 at 3:00 p.m. in Birmingham, Alabama.
SECTION 2: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
