Parks & Recreation requests to have 8 ball field light poles and their fixtures at Mel Roberts Park declared surplus and disposed of by the best means possible. They are about to be replaced with a new lighting system and these old and outdated lights and poles are no longer needed. The items are:

WHEREAS, Parks & Recreation has 8 ball field light poles and fixtures that are about to be replaced by a new lighting system at Mel Roberts Park, and
WHEREAS, we are requesting to have all 8 poles and fixtures declared surplus and disposed of by the best means possible.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Declares the 8 light poles and fixtures as surplus ans approves them to be disposed of by the best means possible.
