A resolution to approve a one time donation of 200 hot dogs, hamburgers, buns and bottled water for a Juneteenth Day Celebration hosted by Vanessa Williams, "Our Children Do Matter, Inc." being held on Saturday and Sunday, June 15-16, 2024 at Aaronville Park. Foley Police Department employees will not be participating in the event itself, but it is important to show our support by donating the items listed, further enhancing a strong relationship between law enforcement and the community. This event was previously approved by Council under 24-1163-RES. If approved, The Police Department plans to use available budgeted funds from the Public Relations Account #100-2010-6052, estimated cost to be $450.00. The Foley Police Department will purchase the listed items for this one event and turn them over to a member of the organization to be used as intended above.
