Summary
RES #25-1142 approved the surplus and disposal of multiple Street Department items while authorizing the purchase of their replacements. Street Department would like to amend that resolution and request to un-surplus those items and transfer them to the Parks Department. The Street Department requests to un-surplus the Riding Blower unit #3013025, ASSET 10317- 2017 HURRICANE Z3 RIDING BLOWER- SERIAL # 16200 as well as the Ventrac unit #3013009, ASSET 3706- 2000 STEINER #430 4WD UT- SERIAL # LC9086 and transfer them to the Parks Department.

WHEREAS, during the regular scheduled Council Meeting of May 5, 2025, RES #25-1142 A Resolution to Approve the Surplus and Disposal of Multiple Street Department Items and Authorize the Purchase for their Replacements was adopted on, and
WHEREAS, Street Department requests to amend RES #25-1142 to un-surplus unit #3013009, ASSET 3706- 2000 STEINER #430 4WD UT- SERIAL # LC9086, and
WHEREAS, Street Department requests to transfer this item to the Parks Department.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: Approves the amending of RES #25-1142 A Resolution to Approve the Surplus and Disposal of multiple Street Department Items and Authorize the Purchase for their Replacements that was adopted on May 5, 2025.
SECTION 2: Approves to un-surplus unit #3013009, ASSET 3706- 2000 STEINER #430 4WD UT-SERIAL # LC9086.
SECTION 3: Approves the transfer of these items to the Parks Department.
SECTION 4: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
