WHEREAS, the YMCA hosts events to raise funds for their programs in area communities.
WHEREAS, the YMCA requested to host Y Get Dirty Obstacle Race at Graham Creek Nature Preserve on March 29, 2014.
WHEREAS, the event includes a post race party with food, music and one beer for each racer over 21.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Foley, Alabama, as follows:
SECTION 1: The City grants the request for the YMCA to host the Y Get Dirty Obstacle Race at Graham Creek Nature Preserve on March 29, 2014 and permission to serve one beer per racer over 21, according to ABC Board requirements.
SECTION 2: This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption as required by law.
