An Ordinance Re-Naming A Road

WHEREAS, on January 17, 2014 the City of Foley adopted Ordinance No. 14-1000 approving the Addressing Ordinance.
WHEREAS, Addressing Guidelines, Street Names 2) reads “The Mayor and Council shall have the authority to name streets within the City limits of Foley or change the name of a street as deemed necessary, subject to E-911 review.”
BE IT ORDAINED that the Foley City Council as follows:
Section 1. What is currently a named right-of-way / private road / easement currently called Woerner Road beginning on the east side of the Foley Beach Express and running east, be renamed to Pastoral Lane (See #1 on Exhibit A);
Section 2. What is currently a named private road / easement called Woerner Road that runs south and meanders to the east, that portion will be deleted from the City of Foley and E-911 systems (See deleted on Exhibit A);
Section 3. What is a new private road / easement that runs from CR 32 south crossing the private road / easement previously known as Woerner Road being renamed in Section 1 and running approximately 1,320 feet further south, will be named Bucolic Lane (See #2 on Exhibit A);
Section 4. What is a private road / easement turning south off of the right-of-way previously known as Woerner Road being renamed in Section 1 and running parallel to the Foley Beach Express, will be named Rustic Route (See #3 on Exhibit A).
Section 5: No part of this ordinance shall be construed as creating any public Right-of-Way beyond that described in Ordinance 618-99 and recorded at Instrument 501685.
Section 6. This ordinance shall become effective upon its publication as required by law.
